Traditional Braces
Metal brackets are placed on the teeth with an adhesive with a wire placed across the slots. Each bracket has a specific prescription for the tooth it is bonded to. Each wire used helps to guide the teeth into proper alignment. Traditional braces are the most common tool used to address orthodontic issues as they are able to align teeth quickly, are lower cost, sturdy, and do not require the same level of compliance that clear aligners do.
